Christ Kids is here to engage children (birth through 5th grade) in the life of Jesus. We know that everyone is called to be a disciple of Christ, and we are committed to helping build a strong foundation for each child. Each week your child will engage in meaningful worship, hear an applicable story, and participate in relevant activities. Our volunteers have all been screened, and are fully committed to building strong lasting relationships with your children. We know that the home is the primary place for growth, and as a church, we vow to partner with parents as they model and teach Christ to their children. Join Us.
Each summer, our 2nd – 5th graders attend Camp KidJam at Texas Women’s University in Denton. It is high-energy week filled with worship, skits, games, stories, discussion, fun, and sleepless nights. Our focus is to deepen each child’s relationship with God and encourage him/her in their current walk.
This is a special time in which you vow to raise your child in a Christ-centered home. You, the parent or guardian, make a commitment to model, teach, and reinforce the Christian Faith in your home. This celebration happens twice a year.
Taking the Plunge
A class for any child, 5th grade and younger, that is interested in learning more about baptism. It is a 45-minute class that explores why Jesus said baptism is important. It is held on an individual basis as requested.
As Parents, we all want our children to grow up knowing Christ as their Lord and Savior. How do we do that? How do we make an impact at home? CHRIST Church is committed to partnering with parents as they help build a foundation of faith in their children. Here are a few resources that might help:
A weekly take home paper that you receive with each preschooler.
God Time Card
A weekly study that goes home with every Elementary Student.
A resource center full of family activities and books, located in the Gathering Place at CHRIST Church.
Preschool – Early Reader’s Bible
Elementary – Adventure Bible for Early Readers, NIrV
