Yes, you. You will notice as soon as you pull into our parking lot that we are excited you are here!
EXPECT... A MESSAGE OF BIBLICAL TRUTHS.
We believe the Bible is entirely true—every word of it. It reveals everything we need to know about salvation and how God calls us to live. Our messages are firmly grounded in Biblical truth and are presented in a way that’s practical, relevant, and easy to apply to everyday life.
EXPECT TO BE... GREETED.
Our church family is made up of some of the warmest, most welcoming people you'll ever meet. From the moment you arrive, you can expect a friendly greeting. We'll be happy to show you around—whether it's to the coffee area, restrooms, children's check-in, or the Worship Center. We're truly excited to welcome you and look forward to getting to know you!
EXPECT... AMAZING WORSHIP.
Our worship is vibrant and meaningful, designed to connect hearts with God in a powerful way. It's the kind of experience that leaves you inspired and energized to live out your faith throughout the week.
EXPECT... YOUR KIDS TO LOVE IT!
Our children’s and student ministries are vibrant, fun, and rooted in faith. In a safe, loving environment, kids learn and grow with leaders who are passionate about serving. We believe spiritual growth starts at home, and we’re committed to partnering with parents to help teach and model Christ to the next generation.
Our student ministry, 516 Students, is a welcoming space for teens from all walks of life to connect, grow, and have fun. Inspired by Matthew 5:16, we aim to help students shine their light by equipping them to own their faith, lead boldly, and advance the gospel.
Matthew 5:16, “Let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in Heaven.”
EXPECT TO... LEAVE CHALLENGED, INSPIRED, MOTIVATED, AND ENCOURAGED.
We are loved just as we are—but we’re not content to stay the same. Together, we’re pursuing Christ and growing to be more like Him each day. When you leave, you'll sense the Spirit stirring your heart toward a life of greater holiness.
10 SECRETS TO GETTING THE MOST OUT OF CHRIST CHURCH
1. Arrive Early.
The first visit always takes longer than you think to find where you are going. After your first visit, you'll be a pro!
2. Park in the Back.
It LOOKS like you should park in the front and walk in the front doors. Don't be fooled! The Worship Center is in the back- just wanted you to know.
3. Bring your Kids.
The classes are great, and your kids may love CHRIST Church more than you.
4. Note the time.
CHRIST Church starts on time and finishes on time. If our service says we start at 11:00 am, we start at 11:00 am. Worship services are 60 minutes, so you know you will be out by 12:00 noon.
5. Stay Late.
CHRIST Church is full of friendly people, and you will meet a lot of new friends. The longer you stay, the more folks you will meet. You can rush out, but if you choose to stay, you will be glad you did.
6. Sit in the Middle or on the South Side.
The best seats are in the middle. The second best seats are on the far side of the room. If CHRIST Church sold seats, these would go for more than the ones by the North doors.
7. The Apps.
CHRIST Church loads all scriptures and notes on The Bible App. If you have a smartphone, you can get the app. Open it up and go to the menu and click on "Live." Then click on "Search Live Event." You will find CHRIST Church Irving. There you will see the outline, scriptures, and even a place to take notes. We also have our own CHRIST Church Irving App. There you can find events, watch past sermons, submit prayer requests, and more!
8. Meet Keith and Greg.
Make sure you find them, introduce yourself, and shake their hands. They are really great guys and can help you find the right people who can make your experience great. You can usually find them right outside the Worship Center, by the wall that says NEXT STEP. It’s big—you can’t miss it (promise!).
9. Don't forget to grab some coffee from our Coffee Corner.
Sunday mornings can be brutal—we get it.
Grab a free cup of coffee before joining us for worship in the Worship Center. Because let’s be honest… Jesus and coffee go great together.
10. Bring a sweater or jacket.
It's often cold in the Worship Center. If you are cold-natured, bring a sweater or jacket.
